Article 1 (Purpose)
These Terms & Conditions are intended to set forth the rights, obligations, responsibilities, conditions of use, and procedures applicable between SNBSOFT Co., Ltd. (the “Company”) and users in connection with the use of the KoMedi service (the “Service”) operated by the Company.
Article 2 (Definitions)
- “Service”: Medical and healthcare-related information services, reservation linkage, consultation requests, etc., provided via website or app.
- “User”: Any member or non-member who uses the Service.
- “Member”: A person who registers for membership.
- “Affiliated Institution”: Third parties providing medical, beauty, travel, or interpretation services in partnership with the Company.
- “Reservation”: Applying for or confirming services from an Affiliated Institution.
- “Content”: Text, images, videos, reviews, and other info available through the Service.
Article 3 (Posting, Effectiveness, and Amendment)
1. The Company shall post these Terms so Users can easily review them.
2. The Company may amend these Terms. For amendments, notice shall be provided 7 days in advance (30 days for disadvantageous changes).
3. Continued use after the effective date constitutes agreement to the amended Terms.
Article 4 (Description of the Service)
- Provision of medical/health-related information.
- Support for reservations and consultation scheduling.
- Payment processing and voucher issuance.
- Review and rating features.
- Ancillary services (interpretation, transportation, etc.).
Article 5 (Status of the Company and Scope of Responsibility)
Article 6 (Membership Registration)
Users apply for membership by agreeing to these Terms. The Company may refuse registration for false information, age restrictions (under 14), or prior suspensions.
Article 7 (Account Management and Security)
Members are responsible for their accounts. The Company is not liable for losses due to negligent management unless caused by the Company's willful misconduct.
Article 8 (Use of the Service)
The Service is generally available 24/7, except during system maintenance or force majeure events.
Article 9 (Reservations, Applications, and Formation of Contracts)
Reservations are formed when confirmation is notified by the Company or the Affiliated Institution. The Company may cancel reservations for errors, non-payment, or suspected fraud.
Article 10 (Payment)
Various payment methods (credit cards, bank transfers, etc.) are supported. Fees, taxes, and exchange rates for overseas payments shall be borne by the User.
Article 11 (Cancellation, Changes, and Refunds)
Refunds are governed by the specific policy of the product or Affiliated Institution. Refunds may be restricted for no-shows, change of mind, or visa issues attributable to the User.
Article 12 (Coupons, Points, and Promotions)
Coupons and points are non-transferable, cannot be redeemed for cash, and may have specific validity periods.
Article 13 (Users’ Obligations and Prohibited Acts)
Users must not: use false info, make fake reservations, infringe intellectual property, distribute malicious code, or manipulate ratings.
Article 14 (Posts and User Content)
Users own their posts but grant the Company a royalty-free right to use/edit them for service operation. The Company may delete inappropriate content (defamation, spam, etc.) without notice.
Article 15 (Intellectual Property Rights)
All intellectual property related to the Service belongs to the Company or legitimate rights holders. Unauthorized reproduction or commercial use is prohibited.
Article 16 (Protection of Personal Information)
Personal information is handled according to the Privacy Policy. Essential info may be shared with Affiliated Institutions to facilitate reservations.
Article 17 (Suspension and Restriction of the Service)
The Service may be suspended for maintenance, equipment failure, or administrative orders. Prior notice will be provided when possible.
Article 18 (Withdrawal and Restriction of Use)
Members may withdraw at any time. The Company may restrict access for violations of terms, fraudulent payments, or malicious interference.
Article 19 (Disclaimers)
The Company is not liable for medical outcomes, side effects, or disputes between Users and Affiliated Institutions. Users must verify passport, visa, and health requirements independently.
Article 20 (Damages and Limitation of Liability)
Company liability is limited to the greater of (i) total amount paid by User in the last 12 months or (ii) KRW 100,000, except in cases of willful misconduct.
Article 21 (User Indemnification)
Users shall indemnify the Company for losses caused by their violation of laws or these Terms.
Article 22 (Notices)
Notices are provided via registered email, SMS, or app push. General notices may be posted on the Service for 7 days.
Article 23 (Governing Law and Jurisdiction)
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea. Jurisdiction belongs to the courts of the Republic of Korea.
Article 24 (Miscellaneous)
Unspecified matters follow standard commercial practices and individual operating policies established by the Company.
